Spring is in the air! It is a great time to think about
freshening up your home for the warmer months
ahead. One way to do this is to decorate your
windows. Perhaps your draperies could use a face-lift
or maybe it is time to add some window treatments.
Let's highlight those windows and get ready to let the
sunshine into our rooms!

| Window Treatments |

Iluminate your Windows
Nice weather is arriving and it is time to pay attention
to your windows! Current window treatment styles
include loose and relaxed panels in light, crisp silks,
soft velvets and textured ultra suedes. These can be
dressed up or down by combining colors and textures,
adding swags, bustles, interesting hardware and trim.
These treatments can dress up your window without
reducing your light or view.
Don't forget the sheers! There are wonderful new
sheer fabrics available in many different patterns and
colors. They add a soft and glamourous touch to any
window. Whether used alone or under panels,
sheers add style.
And remember to save those remnants! Using fabrics
from your window projects in other areas of the room
is a cost-effective and lovely way to coordinate your
decor. Small pieces can be turned into sofa pillows,
table runners, placemats, etc. and can easily be
paired with solids for an anchored look.

Mirrors and Decor
Mirrors symbolize the way you see yourself. Make sure
that your mirrors are clean and sparkling; otherwise,
you may be unduly harsh on yourself. It's also
important to hang your bathroom mirror so it reflects
your entire face, plus two inches above and below
your head. If your bathroom mirror is too small, you
will be prone to underestimate your abilities. A larger
model will help you fulfill your potential.
