With the newest fashions of the year arriving at market, I visited North Carolina at the end of March to check out the latest in furniture design. Some emerging trends...pendant lights are huge and chocolate brown is still a big contender in the design world whether it be a chocolate lamp shade to a sofa....the color is still very prevalent.

At the beginning of April, I attended a window treatment conference in Washington D.C. The trends there showed that less is still more on windows. The days of all the layering are hopefully gone forever :)

One product I am using more and more in my current projects is wallpaper in bathrooms and dining rooms. With many of the exclusive designer wallpapers that I have access to, it can make a huge impact!
