| Note From Melanie |
 |
|
We have a lot of things to be thankful for this time of
year. In the spirit of the holiday season I volunteered
my time at the Hanscom Air Force Base, decorating a
tree for a family with the holiday blues. The husband
is soon to be deployed for Iraq, and to help lift the
family's spirits I added a little light to their home by
decorating a beautiful Christmas tree for them.
I
hope to make this a tradition each year, providing a
little holiday sparkle for families who are having a
hard time finding the spirit of the season. Throughout
the coming year please let me know if there is a
family that may be in need for some holiday cheer
next year!
Happy Holiday's to you all and
have a
wonderful New Year's!
Until next time, Happy Decorating!

| Ornaments and Ribbons and Bows, Oh My! |
 |
|
This time of year we are
inundated with
ribbons and
bows and other holiday trinkets on presents. Now
there are great ways to use these year
round.
- Ribbons are always great to use to add a soft
touch to a candle, picture frame, floral bouquet or if
enough, to tie back curtains.
- Left over garland or beads can be used to make
ornamental wreaths that can be used year round.
Place them around candles or the neck of a wine
bottle for a decorative look.
- Use ribbons, ornaments, holiday cards and
pictures to make a creative holiday mantle piece for
this holiday season or years to come.
- If all else fails, you can always save them to use
for next year!

| Feng Shui Tip of The Month |
 |
|
Start your New Year's off right. Incomplete qi
(pronounced "chi" = energy) carried from one year to
another can affect your good fortune. Finish those
odd jobs that you have already started and have not
completed. Resolve your Old Year's resolution before
you start a new one.
